America is a country of immigrants whose strength lies in unity.
We are sincerely grateful to our honored guests who celebrated the Independence Day of Ukraine with us and the Brulin community. Such unity on the Day of our All-Ukrainian National Holiday is touching for all Ukrainians, and especially for the newly arrived refugees from Ukraine, who left their homes fleeing the hated Moscow occupier. The Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the UN, Serhiy Kyslytsia, in his speech spoke with gratitude about the assistance of the United States and other countries, thanks to which Ukrainians are going to Victory.
The Consul General of Ukraine in New York, Oleksiy Holubov, welcoming his compatriots, called on them to unite and believe in our Victory, to support each other, because together we are one big Ukrainian family.
Andriy Dobryanskyy delivered welcoming remarks on behalf of the Ukrainian Congressional Committee of America.
On his Facebook page, the Ambassador of Ukraine to the UN wrote that day: ... "The School of Ukrainian Studies "New Wave" preserves and strengthens Ukrainian identity, while instilling respect for the traditions and values of the United States and the people of this friendly country. Freedom and Will! But remember that freedom is the opportunity to be free in a way that respects the will of all! America is a country of migrants, whose strength lies in uniting everyone around common values. Common to all free peoples and nations. And this is the strength of united free democratic nations! Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the Heroes!
