"What is for me, for us - Ukrainians - Ukraine today". In "New Wave" in this academic year 2024-2025, on Saturdays, 45 teachers taught Ukrainian studies to over 400 Ukrainian children (more than a third - children refugees from this war). These are eleven classes + preschoolers and a group of little ones Svitlychki. And each class teacher, with the participation of the school's musical director, prepared a song about Ukraine especially for the festival, which the children performed on the festival stage, decorated with balls of Ukrainian colors. And in each song - love for their native and fatherland. So that it was a mass "Prayer for Ukraine". We know that believing Christians believe in the power of joint prayer. ( "Ukraine is our mother, we are little Cossacks", "My Ukraine is a single family", "Do not worry, Ukraine" and others. This festival of the New Wave students became such a prayer: students, their parents, teachers, the administration and numerous friends of the school. (Bishop Pavlo Khomnytsky blessed the festival).
