Ukraine today is on the pages of newspapers, in the news on TV channels around the world. The media of world-famous and local TV and radio channels, newspapers find us to interview. They admire the heroism of Ukrainians, our unity and strength of spirit. Dozens of TV cameras at press conferences of public leaders, at street rallies in support of Ukraine, at prayers in our and Roman Catholic churches, attended by senators, congressmen, city mayors, governors, religious leaders, and public figures of various national minorities.

For the third Saturday in a row, our Ukrainian studies school “Nova Khvylka” in Brooklyn is in the spotlight. Two days before Russia’s terrible full-scale attack on Ukraine, the New York Times published a photo of our 3rd grade students with drawings of soldiers-defenders of Ukrainian land. Catching me in the car with my eight-year-old grandson Mykhaylyk, the correspondent of the same newspaper asks if he and his friends are afraid (this is after Russia’s recognition of the LPR-DPR), and he says that Ukraine will win. And maybe Putin will die soon, or there will be another president. In two days, the whole world is already yearning for this.

CBS, in addition to interviewing high school students in the first days of the unprecedented aggression, shows our junior high school students singing the National Anthem of Ukraine, with their hands on their hearts, and the Prayer for Ukraine.

Today, another TV channel reported on how parents of students from our school are packing packages for the defenders of Ukraine, at a medical aid reception point organized by us at the Guardian Angel Roman Catholic Church, on OceanParkway, Brooklyn, NY.

Tomorrow, we will be filming a story for ABC again at school and we will be giving an interview for one of the radio programs.

Ukraine's victory on the global information field is unexpectedly huge. It will be the same on the battlefield for our homeland. We will win!
