Over the six years of the newly established Ukrainian Studies School in Brooklyn, nine graduates have received certificates of successful completion. The school administration invited all of them to this first big school holiday to celebrate together and present them with memorable gifts. After all, in 2020 and 2021, when they graduated from school, the pandemic did not allow them to gather together. So the festival became such a good opportunity for friends to meet.

When the head of the examination commission from the UCCA School Council, Mr. Ihor Mirchuk, took the floor, Anastasia Poleva, Yulia Lukaniuk, Artem Hubenko, and Dmytro Mishchenko, who graduated from the School of Ukrainian Studies in 2020, now students at New York colleges, Valentyn Nikoliuk, sisters Anna and Khrystyna Obertos, graduates of 2021, will graduate from American comprehensive schools this academic year. And Viktoria Tychynska and Yulia Ilytych are this year's graduates of the School of Ukrainian Studies.

Mr. Igor Mirchuk, who took exams from each of them, noting the excellent and very good knowledge of the school's pupils in Ukrainian studies subjects, emphasized in his speech how nice it is that the school graduates do not leave it, but remain in the community. They continue to cooperate in various school projects, as well as as educators in Plast and SUMI. For the festive program, everyone together prepared a musical gift. The songs: "School" and "Embrace Me" in their performance touched the soul strings of adults and young listeners. First-graders rang the bell after them so that they would always remember the wonderful years in the Ukrainian school.
