The Head of the "New Ukrainian Wave" Myroslava Rozdolska and the Head of the Board of the School of Ukrainian Studies "New Wave" Anna Shpuk met on December 20 with the Deputy from the 47th district of Brooklyn, New York, Mr. William Colton, in his office at 155 Kings Hwy.

Mr. Koltun was among the school's guests a month ago at the Autumn Festival at 1839 Bath Ave. He was pleasantly impressed by the cultural program and the large number of children attending the school. He wanted to learn more about the needs of the school, as well as about the Ukrainian community in Brooklyn, and in particular, about the newcomers.

So this is exactly what our more than hour and a half conversation with the Deputy was about. His assistant, Ukrainian Inna Taran, was also present at the meeting.

Many interesting thoughts and suggestions for possible projects were expressed. We hope for fruitful cooperation in the interests of the community.
